I have always considered myself to be a pretty good cook. Not only do I like unusual cuisines with hearty flavors, but unique and original presentation is also very important to me. I am probably a caterers worst nightmare!

Not only have I met my match, and then some, but I have also met a person who has my full confidence in being able to turn out a product of which I can be proud. This person is Lisa Peterson who I have known and worked with for 25 years.

I have seen Lisa get better and better as the years have passed. Cooking is not just a job for Lisa; it is a passion that she lives and breathes...always learning, getting new ideas, creating new menu items. Her products are never just status quo.

Besides having an enormous selection of menu items for her customers, she is always willing to work with her clients to either use their special recipes or develop new ones which will suit their needs. The customer always comes first.

On occasions, she has spent several hours with me just going over presentation. So, by the time she lays out her food table, not only does her food taste wonderful but it is visually captivating, also. She recently catered a sit down, 5 course wedding dinner for 200 guests for my daughter, about which people are still talking.

Her staff has always been well trained and wonderul to have in my home. Once they are in my kitchen, I can spend all my time focusing on guests. She has everything running like clockwork. I feel that the Treasure Valley poplulation truly recognizes how fortunate they are to have Lisa Peterson as a culinary resource.

Lisa Peterson Catering has catered events for Opera Idaho for four years which include private dinner parties, Auction of Arias Gala and our annual Summer Garden Party. On every occasion I have found the staff helpful and exceedingly efficient. The food is always delicious and our guests and donors comment on the quality and beauty of presentation. Lisa has a knack for working in smaller spaces and yet pulling together an elegant evening for all. It has been a pleasure to work with her staff and Lisa personally.
